Table of Contents
The book starts by asking the reader to imagine a scene in which two people are arguing. One person is trying to calm the other down, but the second person is getting more and more agitated. The first person then asks the second person why they are acting this way.
The book argues that the answer to this question is key to understanding human behavior. People act the way they do because of their beliefs, values, and past experiences. These three factors influence everything we do, from the clothes we wear to the food we eat.
The book then goes on to explore each of these factors in more detail. It looks at how our beliefs are formed and how they can change over time. It also looks at the role of values in our lives and how they can influence our behavior. Finally, it looks at how our past experiences can shape our present behavior. The book concludes by asking the reader to think about their own beliefs, values, and past experiences.
